Women, see how they run!

Seeking political office can be a daunting task. What does it take? How have things changed over the years? Several years ago when the Honorable Delaine Eastin #33 was a professor she held classes for her students addressing this very subject. Her guest speakers for these classes were the Honorable Yvonne Brathwaite-Burke #13 and the Honorable Leona Egeland #15.  It is our plan to address this topic at a special seminar on June 18, 2018. The program will be called, you guessed it:

“WOMEN, See How They Run!” …..Past, Present and Future!

We were lucky enough to have as featured guest speakers the same two wonderful examples of running for office at its best, the Honorable Yvonne Brathwaite-Burke #13 and the Honorable Leona Egeland #15 as the Past. They were joined by two outstanding experienced women recently serving in the legislature,  the Honorable Mary Hayashi #111 and the Honorable Fiona Ma #112. with plenty of insight to share, as the Present. And two outstanding women that we believe have the potential  of running for office in the Future.

This event was held at 914 Capitol Mall, Room 500, Sacramento. This is on the 5th floor of the California Supreme Court building, directly across from the West Capitol steps. 3:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
